Experience Matters.
We have a proven track record of successfully advocating for our clients and delivering exceptional service.
In the past year, we have won jury trials against insurance companies and a predatory real estate developer, and we settled two additional cases in our clients’ favor on the day trial was scheduled to begin.
We prosecuted civil rights claims and claims under Federal Torts Claims Act against the U.S. Government and the Trump Administration for unnecessary gynecological surgeries performed on ICE detainees.
We prevailed on a First Amendment constitutional challenge against the State of Georgia and received all of our requested relief and our attorneys’ fees from the State.
We won an important decision under the U.S. RICO Act in federal court, establishing jurisdiction in Atlanta over a company in another state, to hold it accountable here. We prevailed on summary judgment and received a multi-million dollar award from the United States District Court for the Northern District of Georgia on a claim for breach of a shareholder agreement involving the interpretation of a buy-sell clause.
We secured a judgment in excess of $14 million on behalf of a business defrauded by a telecommunications retailer.
We won an arbitration award against an Atlanta-area accounting firm on behalf of a departing partner. My client was paid what he was owed, plus his attorneys’ fees and costs.
We secured a confidential settlement from a Fortune Global 100 company based in Korea on behalf of our client. In a rare and important international legal decision, which helped leverage a settlement, the United States District Court for the Northern District of Georgia compelled the defendant to stay or dismiss a parallel proceeding that it filed in South Korea for leverage, so that the Northern District of Georgia could decide the dispute.
On Sunday, November 8, 2020, only a few days after the 2020 Election, we were told that the outgoing Trump Administration appointees were deporting the victims to cover their wrongdoing. We stayed up all night, filed an Emergency Motion for Temporary Restraining Order at 5:00 a.m., and we received emergency relief, stopping the deportation of these victims, including one who was on the tarmac at the airport, about to be transferred out of the country.
